The Zhanjiang Arbitration Commission and the Zhanjiang Court of International Arbitration operate under domestic and international names as a civil and commercial arbitration institution. The institution provides commercial, international and online arbitration services to businesses and other market participants.

Strengthening specialist arbitration capability

Fei has more than 20 years of experience across public prosecution, government, state-owned investment and private practice. Her principal areas of work include investment and M&A, capital markets, cross-border investment and transactions, government affairs and industrial projects, corporate governance, compliance and dispute resolution.

Her arbitration work also includes comparative research on the public policy defence to the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards. She presented a paper on the subject at the Sixth Yangtze River Delta Arbitration Lawyers Forum, examining the rules and judicial practice of Mainland China, Singapore, India and Hong Kong SAR.

Her experience in investment and M&A, state-owned asset procedures, cross-border transactions, corporate governance and complex project implementation will broaden the institution’s specialist capacity and help it respond to disputes arising from major transactions, cross-border operations and corporate governance.

Broadening multidisciplinary arbitration expertise

Commercial disputes often require close consideration of legal rules, transaction structures, regulatory requirements and business operations. Fei’s work across public prosecution, government, state-owned investment and private practice provides a multidisciplinary foundation for examining complex commercial disputes.

The appointment adds further experience in investment and M&A, cross-border transactions and corporate governance. It also brings an integrated understanding of judicial procedure, government and state-owned asset decision-making, and commercial practice, broadening the institution’s coverage of disputes arising from major transactions and cross-border operations.
